He was born in Guyana, where he was a renowned businessman and very active member of the Lions Club. He later migrated to the United States with his family and became a successful real estate investor in New Jersey before retiring and relocating to St. Petersburg, Florida. The family of Deo Persaud wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the doctors, nurses and aides who helped him greatly while he was under their care. Thank you to family and friends for your kindness, laughter, good times, and support you have given Deo and our family over the years. Now, we are grateful for your sympathies and prayers to help us through this very difficult time. In lieu of flowers, we ask that you kindly donate to one of these charities in Deo’s name: American Heart Association, National Kidney Foundation, or American Lung Association.
